The Sheraton Wall Centre will be the official accommodation provider for OMCOS 21. This gorgeous hotel boasts the iconic One Wall, North Tower, one of Vancouver’s most extraordinary buildings.

All room prices are for single or double occupancy. Each additional person beyond two will be charged $30 per person per day.

These rates are available to guests attending OMCOS 21 three days prior to start date and three days after the end date, subject to availability at time of reservation.
Rates will increase by $30.00 per person for triple or quad occupancy.

- Participants can arrange their accommodation directly with the Sheraton Wall Centre, which will provide confirmation to participants. Reservations can be made by one of the options below. Please advise that you are with the “OMCOS21” group when submitting your reservation by phone, fax or email.
- Accommodation booking will be available starting July 2022.
- All cancellations must be made 72 hours days prior to the day of arrival. Cancellations and no shows, after this date will be charged 100% first night plus all applicable taxes. This will be charged to the credit card provided for room guarantee.
- Name changes are accepted if made no later than 24 hours prior the day of arrival.
UBC Ponderosa Apartments
Budget accommodation will be made available at the UBC Ponderosa Apartments.
The University of British Columbia (UBC) is a top-ranked research university, surrounded by forests and breathtaking ocean views that enhance this remarkable campus. Gardens decorate the vicinity including the notable Nitobe Memorial Garden which is considered to be one of the top five Japanese Gardens located outside of Japan. This campus is also home to the UBC Botanical Garden, where you can explore plants from all over the world in this quiet place of beauty. Another incredible facility is the Beaty Biodiversity Museum which contains Canada’s largest blue whale skeleton! UBC offers a series of affordable rooms and suites close to these attractions and by the water with incredible vista views, all located within 25 minutes driving or 40 to 45 minutes bussing from downtown Vancouver.
All rooms are great for singles, couples, families, and groups. Regardless of what suite or room you choose, the accommodation offers beautiful views of Vancouver with the convenience of being centrally located.
We have two options available for OMCOS 21 delegates:
| Ponderosa Studio Suite | Studio with double bed and private washroom. Features include sitting area with telephone, flat-panel TV, fully-equipped kitchen, wireless internet, and complimentary coffee & tea provided. Air-conditioning is not available at Ponderosa Studios. Maximum 2 guests per studio. |
| Ponderosa Single | Private bedroom with a single bed and telephone in a four-bedroom shared apartment. Guests share two washrooms, lounge with flat-panel TV, kitchen (not equipped), and wireless internet. Complimentary coffee & tea provided. |
All of the UBC suites:
- Located 25 minutes driving or 40 to 45 minutes bussing from the downtown core
- Close to public transportation and with a major bus exchange located on campus
